In separation equipment, uniform flow distribution of fluids over the downstream equipment is essential: in gas / liquid separation, to minimise carryover, caused by mal-distribution on the demisting equipment; in liquid / liquid separation, to minimise any mixing and mal-distribution on the coalescing / separation equipment.
To enhance separation in many applications Zeta-pdm Ltd recommend the insertion of a ZP-Vane Type Inlet Device.
